Although I like to write about love and relationships a lot, I am not a huge fan of romance novels and/or movies. However, I have read Nicholas Sparks’ book “the notebook” and watched the movie. You could almost say this is a mini review? I digress. (hahaha I sound really silly)
Below are my favourite quotes both from the book and featured in the movie.
- The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I hope to give to you forever. I love you. I’ll be seeing you. Noah.

What I love most about this love story is that despite their differences, time apart and their mistakes, they see love. I believe that this is why most relationships fail. The inability to see past someone’s differences and learn instead of resent.
